Casa Rodriguez Restaurant: Experience Authentic Mexican Flavors in Bryan, TX

One of my favorite mom and pop restaurants in BCS. Their breakfasts are filling and affordable, and you can really see the dedication the family, when the owner is there in the morning rolling silverware alongside the rest of the staff.

I’ve unfortunately been having to give this restaurant unfavorable reviews for quite some time now. It’s been so disappointing to lose my favorite go-to Mexican food establishment due to such bad service and poor food quality. HOWEVER, I was invited to lunch yesterday so I reluctantly obliged. I’m happy to report that there has been a significant change. The food was hot and fresh which is a vast difference from the last time I was there when it tasted like reheated leftovers. The flavors were delicious and on point for Casa Rodriguez style Mexican food. Everything was served neatly plated vs. the sloppiness I’ve consistently seen. Service was adequate even being moderately busy. And wait time was average. I’m happy I was able to improve my review. Whatever they are doing, I hope it continues so that everyone can enjoy the Casa Rod I came to love.

I came here for lunch and got the Carne Asada a La Tampiquena. Featuring a steak, rice, refried beans and enchilada (which is more like a taquito), with 2 flour tortillas to build tasty steak tacos with, this was a flavorful dish. The chips were kind of bland, I recommend salting them, but the salsa was pretty good. The green sauce was alright as well but it's not my preference. My only gripe is that service was slow, whether it was to get my drink, my food, or the bill. All in all however, this was a lunch well spent, I will come again!

LOVE Casa Rodriguez. The new owners are amazing. Food and service was exceptional. We had a large group go for lunch after church and they were so kind and patient with us as we got our order in. Food came out quick and fresh. Such a great experience all around.

If you're looking for the neighborhood favorite, head on over here. Enchiladas and fish tacos are so wonderful. Nothing left on our plates. Such nice people, we felt like family.

Hey everyone! If you are looking for authentic home made from scratch mexican food then Casa Rodriguez in downtown Bryan is a must go!! Casa Rodriguez is one of the best mexican restaurants in the area. They are family owned so they know a thing or two about authenticity and great customer service! The food is fantastic! I have been here several times and I am always met with prompt and friendly service. The atmosphere here is laid back and very comfortable. I highly recommend visiting Casa Rodriguez as soon as you can. HUGE THUMBS UP!

From the time we entered the restaurant to paying the check, the various restaurant staff treated us with the highest level of service. The food was served exactly as requested (and we had some substitutions). The fajitas, tortillas, and all sides were seasoned perfectly! And to top it all off, we had the most delicious apple pie a la mode served on a sizzling platter! Ooey gooey bubbly goodness! Will come again!

Atmosphere: They do quite a bit for decorations and especially when different holidays pop up they do a great job of decorating for the pertaining holiday. The music they play reminiscences music of classic tejano music and fits the ambiance of the restaurant. Service: The service here can be a hit or miss. A couple times it took awhile for us to get service but there are also times where service is great. Just recently it was really good and our server was very prompt and was constantly checking up on us. Quality: Quality is about as good as any Tex-Mex in the area. One food item that never disappoints whenever I go is El Mobley. Great amount of food for the price and that's the small portion as well.
